HOw much do you guys think a person should spend on their first bike?
do you think $200 is too much for a first bike?

i'de say atleast drop $250 into the bike and maybe another $50-$100 in upgrades your your firts bike and work off of there. $200 isnt expensive at all because you can hardly buy shit on a stick with that.

thx man i was getting a little unsure because one of my friends has been bmxing a couple of years and his bike is worth about $80. i think he might have spent it on his skateboard but dang bikes are so much more expensive skate boards a 200 skate board would be like something a pro uses. i don't even know if there are $200 skate boards

200 is a good price to start with because you getting one that wont be shit but not the best either

200-300 is good because you dont wanna waste your money if you dont get into the sport but you also dont want some crap bike. get something thats decent and you can make some upgrades to later on. my first bike was about 250 and then maybe another 200 in upgrades as time went on until i got my new bike
