well, yes. lots of grinding can hurt the base of your board. bottom line is that if you're going to hit rails but are not going to be a park monkey your whole life you really need to pay close attention to any damage to your edges and base and get them fixed/tuned a bit more often then if you didn't hit the rails. And, of course, you can always get a second board for the park, if you really want to. Love your snowboard and it will love you back.

its not like boards last forever anyway... live it up and make the most outa the board while it lasts!!

rails kinda hurt the bottom og my board... only becayse the rainbow rail had a sharp piece of metal sticking out and it dug alot of huge indents into my board... its all good though

Park rails arn't too bad on you board. Street riding/ concreate/rocks are what kills your board.

Those rubber tip protectors could and keeping the board waxed up could help protect your board.

bottom line if you do any rails that aren't on a mountain use a different board than what you use at the mountain. So have 2 boards, it's what I do. yea rails will damage your board slowly but for the most part your base will just get a few lil scrapes here and there. Definately worth it...

well, maybe if you like didnt wax your board and like grinded TO THE MAX, then you could screw up your board, but other than that, definately not, and if there is different results, then i guess your board sucks,...so .....get a different one....ok, pc out yo

boards are meant for jumps rails etc. just make sure you sharpen your edges about every month and wax your board about every 2-3 weeks depending on how much you go
