wicked
hey guys what u think of this. to minimize weight they have cut out most of the bike that is not used cool idea but do u think its any good. the nice thing is that only weighs under 4 lbs what u guys think

the bike weighs four pounds? dont bull shit me, the air in my tire weighs more then that.
14 Feb 2006 19:44
that bike would prolly be so weak, it would prolly bend after one drop it took
15 Feb 2006 04:11
lol, yeah that what i was thinking.
15 Feb 2006 04:42
yeah i thought so too but i read up about it and that bike has been designed by a scientist so it is built strong and the places where it doesent need so much material they have minamized there are peopl already riding the frame and it should be on the market soon id love to see it in real life and see if i can break it but ya looks ok
15 Feb 2006 17:31
who cares about a few pounds here and there seriously fucking weight freaks

yeah sure

ya wut does a scientist know about biking, gotta get an actual biker to design the frame cuz he would know wut hes talking about

LAUGHING MY FUCKING ASS OFF!!!
they took out that much metal and it only weighs 4lbs? damn, they must have used 1/8" thickness tubing to compensate for the loss in strength that frame has from the lack of propper weld joints and supporting metal.
being built by a scientist means jack shit. just because you're a scientist does not mean that you know and understand bike geometry. i designed and built a frame 3 years ago and the person who bought it has still yet to break anything, and i was 13 years old 3 years ago.

also, 4lbs has been too heavy for a frame for the past 2 years. damn people and their weight crazy minds.

haha you thought it was the whole bike lol, that would insane tho if the whole bike was 4 pounds
16 Feb 2006 02:26
lol. bobe is emo. what a dumbfuck. lol. j/p. but seriously, your a dumbfuck.

This idea is actually pretty sweet.
Because the holes are drilled with round edges - it shouldn't lose any strength at all!
They could have gone more full-on with it I reckon. Maybe they'll evolve the design after they test the thing.
Wouldn't want to be the guy who hoofs this off a ramp for the first time! :D
