SKATE SHOES

hey i just started skating and i cant do anything execpt an ollie. i dont have skate shoes. i was just wondering how much would they help.  

well... i think that they help when bailing but dont think about stile think about safety. Thats whatg people say. But i think that then help with falls.The doctor of one of my m8ts said that if the was not wearing fat sk8 shues he wuld have broke his foot. so i gues they do :roll:  

i think the way the bottom and sides of the shoes are designed help keep more comtrol over it  

Skate shuus give u much more grip and they will help u flip and dont wear down so easy and they are wider, giving u more control...... am i rambling on??? :D

I acually just bought a pair of lakais we'll see how these bitches work.....

well their made out of some strong leather material and I would have never bought lakais cuz I heard that they sucked too....but...I have plenty of money to piss around so....  

i like ipath. i just got a new pair and i ollie ALOT higher! and i landed 7 vartical flips in a row.(i think i spelled that wrong.)  

yeah i just bought a new pair of dc's for $179.00 n they semm to hold up well..... n extreame spike what the hell is a verical flip (no offence if its a real trick n im jus stupid an dont know what it is)

Ipath don't look to good in my opinion.....and DC i like but never hold up long enough......

yeh i no what a variel flip is i can do em but i thought a vertical flip was sumthin

LoL why would you pay $179 man? and then you skate in them. If i payed $179 for a pair i wouldnt skate them, id just wear them to school, and skate in an old pair. I do it though anyways...

If i only i had that kind of money to throw around :cry: Anyways yeah i gotta get a lame job this summer, cuz i need money... Bad :P

So like, over here you can buy jewelry for mothers day that says MOM on it... does the stuff over there say MUM, or is that just something you dont do over there? And is it true that its like hella hard to find ice?
